Grace and Good Grief in Action! Watch this🌱

Dear friends,

Last week I shared that I cried a tsunami. Oh, how empowering it can be to let loose our e*motions and not on one another!

Feelings have been flowing in waves these past few weeks. Maybe you’ve felt this too? The winds took down powerlines up and down the East Coast. The power was on and off here today. The word “grace” has been my daily mantra. So, if you missed last week’s Connect to Calm Tip I strongly invite you to circle back and choose your word for how you want to feel this year. Here’s our blog link where all Connect to Calm Tips will now be.

Anchor into calm and your words friends. WOW, I'm already seeing grace showing up in several aspects of my life. At work, tender moments in all my groups left me in tears feeling so thankful to practice STOP & FLOW with them. The good results from our women's addiction recovery group were filled with grace in the moment that was so beautiful. I’m pleased to share that despite much grief, grace was 100% free-flowing!

This is what six amazing women said.

Before STOP & FLOW:

  • I want to feel accomplished, relaxed, resolved, balanced, healthy, and motivated.

After STOP & FLOW:

  • I'm feeling content now and extremely relaxed like I could take a nap and really rest.

  • My eyes and my back feel so much better.

  • My emotional pain has gone down even as my physical pain seems to be about the same.

  • I feel less agitated and less anxious.

  • I always love coming to this group. I feel relieved.

  • This was my first time in this group, and I feel so inspired!

Grace! These remarkable shifts demonstrate the tangible benefits of STOP & FLOW sessions.  Please don’t miss the opportunity to experience these benefits for yourself even if you are not sure you deserve them.

Justice stands as the opposite of Grace. Grace involves finding ourselves beyond circumstances we wouldn't consciously choose, realizing we don't necessarily deserve it, yet receiving it anyway.

👁️ This Week's Connect to Calm Tip: Watch “Good Grief” the new Netflix Original Movie starring and written by Dan Levy. [Click here for the trailer.]

The movie “Good Grief” was recommended to me by my friend Debbie Carni. Her humor and wisdom are such grace in my world. Noted. The movie is an excellent example of grace as well. Watch this for some very real-life possibilities for calm and inspiration to receive in your life.

I highly recommend the movie, and it’s also on my heart to say, it’s emotionally charged. It might even be a bit triggering. If you can be with a bit of joy and pain, the discomfort works its way through and there is a very happy and worthwhile ending.

Love isn’t embodied by feeling safe in your comfort zone. Love is expansively finding your edges out beyond your comfort zone. You’ll know you’re getting closer when the journey is feeling well and good in your soul.

What’s your favorite feel-good scene from this movie? I really enjoyed the ferris wheel scene and when the friend covered his beloved up with a blanket. So love!
