CALM ~ COOL ~ COLLECTED

A school nurse and student get beyond a challenging time together.

In the spirit of leading with love and compassion, let's dive right into a touching story shared by one of my dedicated STOP & FLOW facilitators, who works full-time as a school nurse. This past week, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of STOP & FLOW in a moment of unexpected distress.

🌟Want to Live Beyond Stress? Here we grow!

Dear friends,

Be careful what you ask for...you might just get it!

For the past several weeks, we've been exploring the power of choosing an uplifting word for how we want to feel this year. Why? Because, as you may already know, what we think, say, feel, and do shapes our lives.

You’ll find a link to recent research that supports “growth beyond stress” is not only possible but likely! Read on if you want to see how you can include more and have a powerful say in everything from here.

Recall “Grace” is my guiding word for all of 2024, and many of you have shared

Dear friends,

Last week I shared how I cried a tsunami. Oh how empowering it can be to let loose our e*motions and not on one another!

Feelings have been flowing in waves these past few weeks. Maybe you’ve felt this too? The winds took down powerlines up and down the East Coast. The power was on and off today. I choose grace has been my mantra. If you missed last week’s Connect to Calm Tip I strongly invite you to circle back and choose your word for how you want to feel this year.

Anchor in and stay in connection. WOW, I'm already seeing grace showing up in several aspects of my life.

I cried a tsunami yesterday!

I cried a tsunami yesterday!

While resolutions tend to be hard to keep, desire is daily rocket fuel for our everyday life. I have to be transparent, I cried a tsunami yesterday. I was finding it very hard to not be at the effect of some really emotional conversations and life circumstances. This was not how I wanted my new year to begin.

How are you feeling this first week of the new year? How do you want to feel from here? Thanks for checking in and leaving your a word or two in the comments.

I really appreciate you taking the time to Connect to Calm with me. If I can ever be of support please reach out and I'd love to connect. Be well. Onwards 2024! #stopandflow #addictionrecovery #supportivecommunity #wellbeingtips
